Indonesia:
Provided technical assistance in the form of a CPR to a major state-owned coal producing company in Southern Sumatra since 1995, assisting in its preparation for flotation on international stock exchanges.

Finland:
Requested by Inmet Mining Corporation (Canada) to assist in the due diligence of Pyhäsalmi underground Cu-Zn-Pyrite mine. Carried out a feasibility and technical review of the operation, including the actual status of mining operations and  planning of future development including an estimation of capital and mine operating costs.

Poland:
Commissioned to undertake a Lignite Supply Study at KWB Konin of the brown coal operations at Kleczew as part of a larger project entitled “Independent Technical Review of the Patnow II 460 MW Power Project in Poland”.

Kosovo:
Review of a nickel smelter and mining operation in Kosovo as part of the privatisation process of previously socially owned enterprises. The review consisted of the establishment of geological reserves and an estimate of work and cost to restart the contained nickel furnace which had been damaged through the conflict of the 1990’s.

Portugal:
Requested to undertake an independent due diligence to assess the assets and the production plan for the remaining Life of Mine of the Neves Corvo Mine on behalf of a short listed mining company. The report focused on the future operational improvements from the mining activities in conjunction with the usual geology and processing areas.

Iran:
Undertook a site visit investigating various exposures of chrome ore occurrences and mining. Assessment was carried out in order to arrive at a broad understanding of the potential for mining and to suggest further exploration.

Israel:
Participated in the compilation of a due diligence report for a foreign based fertilizer company with international operations. The Due Diligence Report formed part of a larger document produced for a listing on the New York Stock Exchange.

Portugal:
Assisted a potential investor to prepare the technical bid for a tender on the sale of Neves Corvo copper, tin and zinc mine. The project was owned by Somincor. A number of areas were reviewed including the mining, geology and costing.

South Africa:
The consultant’s London Office produced the Competent Person’s Report and Valuation of Xstrata’s chrome and vanadium assets for the Main Board LSE listing.

Spain:
Requested to provide an independent report on the Las Cruces resource as the company was optimising its Las Cruces gold project in terms of resource estimation and mine planning.  The company required a report suitable for presentation to banks giving an opinion on the validity of the new resource estimate.
