Environmental Impact Assessment and mining audit of abandoned bauxite mines. This included extensive mapping and data collection in the Bahoruco National Park.  The data was utilised to rehabilitate the mines and reinstate the local economy.

Dominican Republic: 1998
Undertook an environmental baseline study for the State Development Organisation CORDE under the EU SYSMIN funding programme. The project also assessed the potential resources for a proposed cement plant. The scope of work included a geological exploration programme, modelling of mining options, cement plant feasibility study as well as environmental baseline studies and an environmental impact assessment meeting the EU 85/337 guidelines.
